Federal Consumer Protection Agency – Profeco

• In recent dates, product liability has become a very important and regulated part of commercial relationships between consumers and suppliers of goods and services.

• VLV has integrated a highly specialized practice group, dedicated to the care of all consumer related matters and claims filed before the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO), which among others include the following:

• Legal handling of all claims and complaints brought by consumers against suppliers of goods and services before any of PROFECOS´s Delegations and Administrative Units, offering a nationwide coverage in dealing with these procedures.

• Care grievance procedures arising from complaints and alleged violations to the Federal Consumer Protection Law. 

• Challenging before the Federal Tax and Administrative Court, any fines and/or penalties imposed by the PROFECO against goods and services suppliers.

• Legal handling "Class Action" that are promoted against suppliers of goods and services. 

• The services offered by the practice of tax litigation and administrative VLV allow avoid injury in fiscal and administrative matters, as well as take advantage of tax opportunities that are presented according to the operational situation of enterprises.​​

• We strive to achieve reconciliation in most complaints brought by consumers against our clients, in order to avoid litigations and higher unwanted costs.
